In the land of disses, Drake has to be the reigning King or perhaps the Prince of Petty, I’ll let you decide.
In a recent interview, President Obama stated that if he had to choose the winner in a rap battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake that Lamar would win.
Well Drake didn’t take very kindly to Obama’s decision, and decided to share his thoughts on the Chief’s choice in rap greatness with his latest in a string of disses titled, “Summer Sixteen.”
The best line by far in the track is, “Tell Obama that my verses are just like the whips that he in. They bulletproof.”
Compared to some of his other diss tracks, mainly aimed at Meek Mill, this one was definitely weak sauce and perhaps as futile as Kanye’s clapback towards Wiz Khalifa.
Recently, there has been a string of rappers overreacting to criticism or commentary, and ultimately making asses of themselves. Even though it’s clapback season, make sure you clapback responsibly folks.
